(CLICK HERE TO WATCH) Discover all the exciting new features and announcements for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) in this presentation from the State of Unreal at Unreal Fest Orlando.
Creators will soon be able to build LEGO® experiences brick-by-brick using the LEGO Brick Gallery, coming June 17.
Exciting new IPs arrive in UEFN over the coming year, including Squid Game slated for June 27, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. And at a later date, Star Wars IP will arrive in UEFN, empowering creators to build experiences based on the much loved franchise.
Later this year, we’re bringing conversational AI capabilities to UEFN so creators can build their own engaging NPCs. We’re also going to release AI-powered tools to unlock entirely new gameplay styles in Fortnite, as demonstrated on stage in this video.
The Epic Developer Assistant is now available via the Epic Developer Community to help speed up the Fortnite island development process.
And Scene Graph will be production-ready on June 7, bringing all the objects in islands—gameplay, visuals, audio, VFX—into a single, unified structure so creators can work more efficiently and build richer Fortnite experiences.
